Karine Ferri has faith in the diet she has followed for years

TV presenter, influencer, model and now author. Karine Ferris’ first autobiographical book will be published by Robert Laffont on October 7th.

Justified A life in balanceshe reveals her daily life, but above all how she manages to cope with her professional life in Paris and her family life in Brittany, surrounded by her husband Yoann Gourcuff and their two children Claudia and Maël aged 3 5 years.

A special diet

The other aspect Karine Ferri addresses in her work is food. The one who praises the benefits of responsible consumption explains that she has been a flexitarian for years. “I’m not a fan of drastic diets that make you lose in wellness what you might gain in slimness. The more I take something, the more I want to crack it. The environmental impact of eating meat is immense, and I am striving to stop it. (…) I have greatly reduced my meat consumption in recent years. I don’t have any strict rules, just phases in which I adapt my diet to my needs. »

In addition to flexitarianism, The Voice co-host is a fan of intermittent fasting. “One week a month, when I’m preferably in Lorient, I eat two real meals a day: breakfast and lunch, and I decide to have a very light supper as soon as possible. (…) The fact that 12 hours elapse between the last meal of the day and the first of the following day allows the body to regenerate. » She says before concluding, aware of the risks that this practice can sometimes pose: “Talk to your doctor before you start to make sure you don’t have any contraindications. »
